105.5.26 Indoor Plant Cultivation

Specific Responsibilities for Indoor Plant Cultivation:

• Ventilation and Exhaust: You must maintain the mechanical ventilation and exhaust systems in full working order to prevent the buildup of CO2 and control odors.
• Gas Detection and Alarms: The CO2 monitoring and alarm system must be maintained, calibrated, and tested regularly to ensure it will alert occupants of a hazardous condition.
• Control Ignition Sources: Ensure all lighting, fans, and other electrical equipment are maintained to prevent them from becoming an ignition source, especially if using flammable extraction solvents.
• Extraction Processes: If you also perform plant extraction, you must obtain a separate operational permit for a Plant Extraction System (105.5.42) and follow all requirements associated with that process.
