Adult Programs

Basic English Workshops

  • Drop-In Conversational English Workshop

    • Thursdays 6:30 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.

    • Saturdays 6:30 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.

  • Learn English Making Arts & Crafts

    • Thursdays 6:30 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.

  • Learn English Making Presentations

    • Saturdays 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

  • Online English Learning

    • Independently practice and study English (as a Second Language) using Burlington English Program. Contact us at 650-877-8540 or clc@ssf.ca.gov for more information on how to register.

Digital Literacy Workshop

Learn the basics of using a smartphone, computer, tablet, and Chromebook. Class is bilingual (English/Spanish). Registration required.

  • Saturdays 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Open Computer Lab

Independent computer use for adults. By appointment only; please call ahead. 

Citizenship Workshops
Assistance in preparing to take the U.S. citizenship exam. Registration required.

  • Wednesdays 6:30 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.

Leamos Juntos
Learn to read and write in Spanish. For native Spanish speakers with little to no formal education (up to the second grade). Registration required.

  • Wednesdays: 6:30 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. 

Enhance your Skills

Enroll in any of the following job certification courses at no cost. 

  • OSHA 
  • Food Handler's
  • ISSA

Youth Programs

Creative Center
Children’s activities are available for children ages 4 - 12 years while caregivers are attending a class/workshop. 

  • Offered during Adult Program's schedule.

After School Program
Homework Club is for children in 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th grade students currently attending Spruce Elementary School. The program follows the South San Francisco School District calendar. Registration required.

  • August 14th, 2025 - May 29th, 2026
    Monday – Friday: Afterschool until 6:00 p.m.
