The South San Francisco Police Department is participating with the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office and other local agencies for another gun buyback event. All firearms will be accepted with no questions asked. The event will be hosted at 1050 Mission Road, South San Francisco.
Free Gun Locks Available
The South San Francisco Police Department offers free gun locks to help residents safely secure legally owned firearms. Gun locks are available for pickup at the Police Department during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No appointment is required, while supplies last.
