South San Francisco Public Library is partnering with Science is Elementary, a non-profit working to make science accessible and enjoyable to all, to provide science kits for everyone in the community! Through their Science is for Me! kit program, families can work together to conduct hands-on science experiments while also supporting their children’s reading development; no science expertise required! Each take-home kit will include:
Starting Monday, December 8th, families can pick up kits from the Main Library (2nd Floor Youth Library and Community Room) and the Grand Avenue Library while supplies last. The Learning Wheels and Gene Mullin Community Learning Center will also be hosting programs in conjunction with these science kits, so stay tuned!
