522 Linden Avenue Public Parking Lot Closing September 1
The public parking lot at 522 Linden Avenue will permanently close on September 1, 2026, following the termination of the City's lease with the Rotary Club of South San Francisco.
The City has leased the lot since October 2024 to provide additional Downtown public parking after the closure of the former Liberty Bank at the adjacent 500 Linden Avenue property. The Rotary Club has notified the City that the property is needed to support construction of the 500 Linden Avenue development project.
Signage is deployed at the parking lot entrance and on the pay station informing users of the upcoming closure. The lot will no longer be available for public parking beginning September 1, 2026.
