The South San Francisco Citizens’ Academy is a 8-week course that engages participants in a hands-on overview of city government. It is an opportunity to learn how and why City decisions are made and how City funds are allocated.
Sessions will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. every Tuesday evening starting September 9, 2025, through October 28, 2025, at various City facilities.
Sessions include tours of facilities and various projects around South San Francisco. Light supper will be provided. The session dates are as follows:
The objective of this program is to involve and engage members of the South San Francisco community in learning the operation of City government, to help build a better community together! Participation is FREE. The Citizens’ Academy is open to all South San Francisco residents 18 years of age and older. Participation is limited.
