105.5.28 Liquid- or Gas-Fueled Vehicles or Equipment in Assembly Build

Specific Responsibilities for Vehicle/Equipment Display:

• Fuel Limits: You are responsible for ensuring the fuel in the vehicle's tank does not exceed one-quarter of the tank's capacity or 5 gallons, whichever is less.
• Secure Fuel Cap: The fuel tank cap must be locked or effectively sealed to prevent tampering and the escape of vapors.
• Disconnect Battery: The battery must be disconnected to prevent accidental starting or electrical shorts.
• Spill Protection: A drip pan must be maintained under the vehicle to catch any potential leaks.
• Clear Egress: The vehicle must not be positioned where it blocks any aisle, exit, or access to fire protection equipment.
