105.5.58 Mobile Fueling of Hydrogen-Fueled Vehicles

Specific Responsibilities for Hydrogen Mobile Fueling:

• Trained Personnel: All fueling operations must be conducted by personnel who have been thoroughly trained in the proper procedures, equipment, and hazards.
• Maintain Approved Location: You must only conduct fueling at the specific sites approved under your permit. Maintain all required separation distances from buildings, property lines, and ignition sources.
• Emergency Equipment: The mobile fueling vehicle must be equipped with the required fire extinguishers and emergency shutdown devices. This equipment must be maintained and readily accessible.
• Equipment Integrity: Regularly inspect all hoses, nozzles, and safety devices on the fueling vehicle for damage or leaks. Do not operate faulty equipment.
• Emergency Plan: The approved safety and emergency response plans must be kept on the vehicle, and all operators must be trained on these procedures.
