Doors of Avignon

The illusionary artwork is a “trompe l’oeil” which is French for “deceives the eye.” Inspired by a trip to Paris, the artist’s vision for this walkway was an old street replete with European windows, doors, planter boxes and creative stone work. “The whole scene adding up to a kind of rustic and charming village-scape, with an illusionary neighbor or two who happen to be home.”
