2026 Summer Learning Challenge!

The South San Francisco Public Library’s 2026 Summer Learning Challenge begins June 1st!

From June 1st through August 31st, South San Francisco kids and teens ages 0–18 are invited to visit the Library | Parks and Recreation Center or Grand Library to pick up a free book and a Summer Learning Challenge activity log.

Complete the activities and return your log to either library for a chance to win San Francisco Giants tickets or a $1,000 scholarship.

You can participate in the Summer Learning Challenge multiple times—each log you complete earns you another free book and increases your chances of winning!
