Magical Musical Performance Celebrates the Holiday Season

As the holiday lights twinkled outside City Council Chambers, the community was treated to a magical musical performance by the Bel Canto Flutes. Led by Gail Edwards, the 20-person flute ensemble played tunes from the Nutcracker, The Polar Express film, Hannukah melodies and classics like Carol of the Bells. Bel Canto Flutes is a flute choir who plays flutes of all shapes and sizes throughout the Bay Area for free to the public.  

Attendees enjoyed the program and collectively expressed a desire for more musical performances at the library.
