Two new homework resources are now available for grades K-12 at the library: Homework Hub and HomeworkCA.
Homework Hub
On Monday, August 31st, 2026, we will debut Homework Hub at our Main Library (901 Civic Campus Way), featuring quiet study spaces, learning resources, and volunteer homework helpers when available. Homework Hub will take place Monday-Thursday from 3-5pm in the 2nd Floor Community Room each Fall and Spring school semester. No registration is required. Please note that children under the age of ten must be closely accompanied at all times by a parent or responsible adult caregiver.
HomeworkCA
A free online tutoring service for California K-12 students available is now through public libraries thanks to Pacific Library Partnership and the California State Library. In addition to live one-to-one tutoring for 250+ subjects in multiple languages, library patrons will be able to access practice quizzes, video lessons, college admission tools, and more via Tutor.com. This service will be available for one year until 7/31/2027.
HomeworkCA can be accessed from our Online Library page under "Homework Help" at home 24/7 or in the library. Creating an account or entering a library card is not required to receive live tutoring. Patrons 13 years or older can create an optional account to access additional features such as practice tests and reconnecting with your favorite tutors.
Additional library e-resources for K-12 students can be found in our Homework Help section, including databases, e-books, educational games, etc.
