Teacher Resources and Class Visits

Class Visit Request Form

We welcome schools and summer camps with students aged preschool through 12th grade. If you are reaching out regarding a visit of adults ages 18+, please email ssfpladm@plsinfo.org for more information. Request a class visit using our form here: 2026 Class Visit Request Form.

All visits should be requested at least 2 weeks in advance using the form linked on our website. All group visits are scheduled on a first-come, first served basis, and are subject to library staff availability.

The best times to visit the Library are:

Main Library (901 Civic Campus Way)

  • Thursdays 10-12pm 
  • Fridays 10-12pm

Grand Library (306 Walnut Avenue)

  • Tuesdays 10:30-12pm 
  • Fridays 10:30-12pm

Teacher Cards

The South San Francisco Public Library offers Teacher Library Cards to teachers in our community. If you are a teacher, home school educator or day care provider living or working in our service area, and you have a personal library card in good standing, you are eligible for a Teacher Card.
