The City is aware of the water service interruption affecting portions of downtown. California Water Service is currently repairing two damaged water valves that must be restored before water service can return. Cal Water has informed us that they anticipate completing repairs by this evening, although the timeline has not been guaranteed. They also cautioned us that additional temporary water shutoffs may be necessary as repairs continue. City staff remain in contact with Cal Water and are monitoring progress on behalf of the community. Updates will be shared as additional information becomes available.
