Hello South City Community,

Eddie Headshot

I’m excited to invite you to join me tomorrow for one of my favorite events of the year - South San Francisco’s beloved Concert in the Park, happening from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Orange Memorial Park Picnic Meadow.

This free, family-friendly event will feature Grammy Award-winning Ozomatli, a multi-genre cultural powerhouse who have blended Latin, hip-hop, funk, and reggae. Opening for Ozomatli is the San Francisco-based cover band, Livewire, who will be bringing us a wide range of some of our favorite tunes.

Also, get excited for the return of our Family Fun Zone, food trucks, beer and wine sales by our amazing Friends of Parks and Rec nonprofit group, and vendor booths featuring local artists and various resources from the City and around the community.  There is literally something for everyone!

Concert in the Park 2025

New this year, we're offering an express route of the South City Shuttle, a complimentary transportation service, to our event location. Check out the full schedule at: www.ssf.net/concert

I’m especially looking forward to unveiling two new works of art generously donated by artists from last month’s Cultura Fest 2025, so come join me and the rest of our city council and event sponsors around noon at the main stage for this fun unveiling!

It’s going to be a wonderful day of music, culture, and community, and I hope to see you there! Please be sure to read all the helpful tips, where to park, how to get there and FAQs, here: www.ssf.net/concert
